Movin' to the Beat

In 2023 PHÖRI reached out to me about creating a music visualizer for a new single. Her smooth vocals and ethereal style helped shape the world of the video. But it was PHÖRI’s creative direction and collaboration that solidified our story and setting.

Inspired by the android illustrations of Hajime Sorayama, the character Machina soon became the focal point of the project.

When the Tires Kiss the Street

To accomplish all this, I pitched a low-poly graphics look fitting of the PS1 or Sega Dreamcast. Simple, yet effective. Allowing for a wider scope while keeping the style intact.
